ALSO here's a fun, true anecdote from my thanksgiving weekend catching up with old friends from high school: my friend told me that she's "dating someone. and she's a woman!" but then went on to insist that she's straight, she still only likes men, and also specifically the woman in particular that she's dating. so like the moral of this story is a) my friend is a lovable goddamn idiot b) niall can identify as straight and still date a dude hahaha
