THIS IS SO PAINFULLY THAT 1980s FIONNRRY / GRYLES AIDS EPIDEMIC FIC I COULD SCREAM. i still don't know if harry's actually an amateur photographer in the fic, but if so i feel like this is a candid photo he takes of fionn when they're at uni and they've only just started sleeping together.

i was working on a nick/louis conversation scene from that fic the other day (there is a REALLY GOOD tomlinshaw friends/exes dynamic aghhh) and i reread the outline for that fic the other day and then i read the gryles part too and ugh my HEART. it's just like... one of those fics that is always in the back of my mind but idk that i can ever write it bc the character deaths are too painful and i feel like the audience would be too niche. but like... just know that I'm always thinking about it and It Hurts Me.

i just reread your outlines and i honestly don't think i could handle the actual fic oh my god it's like, it's incredible, but nope. too painful. can't do it. (i do love this fionn characterization esp though, being unapologetically queer and hardheaded about it, that works so well for him.)

Oh oh oh - I'm really glad you are still thinking about that fic because it's definitely the one I'd most love you to write. Even if a little snippet or two is all you can manage.. I am TOTALLY down for the pain!!

That image is perfect activist Fionn - all boldness and skinny fury and an almost arrogant amusement in his eyes.I love picturing the softer, more uncertain but still flirty Harry with him and how infuriated he'd probably make Fionn.

Is Harry all 'no labels love is love' in this story? How frickin annoying that be for Fionn?! And how mad is he with himself for continuing to fall into bed with Harry when he won't even help him at the LGBT Soc stand for Freshers Week or take part in the Pride parade down the concourse? (Although Harry might be waiting for him in his room after, wearing a feather boa and lipstick and nothing else)

Oh god I swear I'm going to end up writing this fic yself if you don't!! 😆
