Oh god this is embarrassing- I'm back. But I had another idea about the ending! What if! When Louis finds the witch again they tell him there's a v simple way to lift the curse - the original caster just has to genuinely want it to stop. That's all. And so Louis has to work through all the mixed up shit he's always felt about Harry that he'd just rolled up into anger and irritation to find the place in his heart that's true. And maybe he has to force himself to sit through hours of Larry compilations to try to remember what it felt like to ever like this idiot in the first place and is about to stick pins in his eyes when he gets to some Narry videos instead and that's what does it - he just wants his friends to be happy and love each other.
