saysthemagpiesince i am on tumblr hiatus you lucky readers are probably going to receive all of the ~personal posts that I would normally just put over there.
first of all SORRY i am woefully behind on reading/commenting! I have been in dissertation + job market hell the past couple days. but I just submitted for all my 11/1 deadlines and now I have a few days' breathing room to think about jack knocking harry up (also i saw there was some xarry floating around... LET'S TALK ABOUT XARRY, SHALL WE????). also I can reckon with the horrifying fruitfly-infested nightmare zone that is my kitchen! maybe I can even stop eating frozen dinners!! but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves though. first i'm going to drink this fancy pumpkin beer and pet my dog, who played for four hours at the dog park today while i worked on these job applications. I just gave him a bath, an activity he normally hates, but he was so tired he just lay there in the tub, resigned, as i poured buckets of water over his head.
second of all MY LITTLE SISTERharrymynewborngiraffe JUST GOT INTO MED SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
third of all nanowrimo starts today!!! nothing like kicking off the month with a day of not actually writing anything, but i am gonna turn this around, i'm gonna write 1000 words of small town divorce fic tonight. i've got big dreams. big dreams.
