“ok well…see you never,” literally made me laugh out loud lmao. okay you've more than answered my questions, and given me dark, monstrous spiderman to boot. (i just really loved that you took a beloved superhero and made it the MOST HORRIFYING THING POSSIBLE. TERRIFYING AND AWFUL IN LIKE ALL THE BEST WAYS, AND NOW BARRY AND NIALL CAN HAVE A TRAUMA BOND!) i love knowing niall's backstory and seeing it play out from barry's pov, and how much room there is for misinterpretation and uncertainty - like, how it's playing out now, barry's got reason to suspect that it's niall causing these weirdass feelings because there are a dozen other great explanations that correlate really well to how many fucking eyes that thing had.
barry's so good though. he and niall are quite similar, because i could see a less damaged niall doing the same thing if he were in barry's position - taking in a stray, using humor to deflect, finding ways to give him what he clearly needs without humiliating him in the process. barry just lacks that undercurrent of anxiety hahaha.
also, cannot fucking WAIT to find out more about harry and fionn.
