what does a whatsapp writer's retreat consist of?? i used to have whatsapp (i'm an old man like harry styles and deleted it lol sometimes too much human interaction makes me want to throw my phone across the room and hibernate. that's probably normal)

ahaha a curmudgeon after old man styles's heart. it doesn't have to be whatsapp, i just thought that if there were a couple of us that might be the easiest way for us to all check in in a group chat! but we could also make a group thread and then people could check in via comments. i failed to organize any of this last night bc got very involved in thinking about teen dads narry BUT la and i have had great success doing little hour- or two-hour writing sessions where we start at the same time and just check in periodically to be like "you still writing? yup"

ohhh nice, yes that sounds fun & a very good way to stay motivated!! when i used to have whatsapp i had a check-in person (only they were 6 hours ahead timezone-wise which got tricky lol). well i'd be down for a writing session if i can figure out what i actually wanna write!

i failed to do it last night bc i got sidetracked by fic outlining with hannah, BUT if you want to do it again sometime i would definitely be down!! and i was just thinking we could use whatsapp as an easy way to check in as a group if there's more than two of us.

Sorry I missed this... I was actually just thinking that I was always super productive during our Sunday afternoon retreats and we should get back into that. Next weekend?
