FINISHED NANO!!!!!

I DID IT!!!!! or kinda, i mean, i didn't write a novel in one go like you're supposed to, but i did write 51,834 words of fic this month!!!!!! plus i'd guess maybe a couple thousand more handwritten words across my various fic notebooks. i also wrote (WAIT FOR IT) 29,725 words of my dissertation draft. THAT'S A LOT OF WRITING!!!!!!

about 40k of the fic wordcount came from these projects:

• misfits au (20k)
• sequel to sexswap niall (~12k)
• sex demon narry (~8k)

and then the rest came from assorted other fics:

• small town divorce fic (didn't write nearly as much of this as i hoped RIP)
• sequel to 'what a sweet sound it makes'
• teen dads narry
• tree narry
• 50 shades lirry

me too!! I picked it up again a few months ago then set it aside when some of its themes became a little too topical/on the nose (re: harassment and bad TA/student relationships) but I'm working on it, we'll see!

thanks!! sexswap is coming together so slowly but I do hope to send you a draft in the nearish future, maybe even the next few days if I get my act together. I had a minor epiphany about it last night that I'm working through this weekend

thank you!! and yes I really want to write that sequel! I've done a lot of thinking about the gryles friendship/relationship in that one and would like to write more in that world

thank you!! I was struck by a burst of inspiration re: that sequel and have been writing a bunch in that verse the last couple days. AND I SWEAR ILL FINISH TREE NARRY FOR YOU!! it's so close!!!

i'm so happy that misfits is on the list! Also super congrats!! that's a crazy amount of words. lol not to be pushy but are you going to post misfits in chapters or when it's finished? i lost the poll to sexswap niall a while back but i'm still eager for any updates on misfits!

ok thanks for prompting me, I will post some this week I promise!! it feels so niche that I occasionally get discouraged and am like "the people don't want this, it would be purely a weird pardon project" lol but also I wrote SO MANY WORDS towards it!!! and for like two and a half weeks there it totally consumed my thoughts in a way that is v unusual, it usually takes me like 48 hours to mentally move on to the next concept!

I think I could post it in chapters as a WIP on ao3. I gotta think about it a little more, I feel like the joy of the tv show is partly that there isn't usually a lengthy plot arc, they develop as characters but they don't totally get absorbed into a longer narrative bc they just do not care that much about saving the world lol. and I'm trying to figure out how that would translate into a fic. I still might do it for Big Bang which feels kinda crazy. but I got a bunch of stuff plotted in November so who knows! just gotta self-talk myself into it
