#....does anyone write clare/harry?#like maybe...#queer clarry#clare got her heart bruised a little when her bff and lowkey crush sarah started dating mitch...#harry got his heart bruised when his highkey crush mitch started dating sarah...#clare was really nice to him and they're both good listeners#they start hanging out a lot because adam's got a family so he's busy and sarah and mitch are in the honeymoon phase of their relationship a#and spend all their time together#Feelings happen#i'm headcanoning clare as v sweet but also with flashes of a wicked sense of humor#harry's delighted by her#anyway prob harry starts developing feelings first#but is afraid it'll make things awkward and he doesn't know if it's like#appropriate for him to have feelings for his bandmate like they work together and he's maybe kinda her boss#even if to him she feels so much older and more grounded#a good head on her shoulders etc#so he sort of pines a little#and maybe withdraws a little#and clare notices he's withdrawing and it makes her sad#like maybe she did something wrong or said something#and anyway it's silly to have a crush on harry styles#everybody in the world has a crush on harry styles#he's just nice to everybody he probably has these little whispering conversations and secret jokes with lots of people#probably she spends a lot of time hanging out with MUNA and feeling quietly sad and they're cheering her up#also MUNA would be great side characters ok#maybe harry starts casually seeing some other girl or something#he's trying to show that he can be professional and not make clare uncomfortable or whatever#but it just makes clare sad#she's sad ok!! she likes harry :(#fic outlines

anyway i'm just really into this, i'm so into it i made a little four-photo header for it, lol. using my advanced photoshop skills aka i just copied them in here and made them the same size. i have a lot of quiet feelings about this one and i might write a little fic outline fo of it later this week.

I saw your tags for this on tumblr today and at first, I was like "that's not a thing I'm into, is it?" But by the end of your tags I was totally sold (which may just be more revealing of my propensity to multiship than anything).

I like the whole harry trying to show that he can be professional thing because it reminds me of early hitch headcanons, which I loved. I would definitely love to read more about this.

SAME. saw these tags earlier and found myself nodding. yes. into it. into it in a big way. specifically into harry being nervous about having a crush on clare because she seems a little... out of his league? because she is so smart and adult-like in a way that he hasnt seemed to grasp yet? and of course, the whole being her boss conundrum. GOOD STUFF. i dont know if you have plans to take this to a sex place, but in my own humble opinion i feel as though it presents a great opportunity to incorporate very soft-dom gentle pegging.

clarry is a great ship because clare is the actual human embodiment of the crackfic happy hippie characterization of harry. she personifies her plants, she worries about bees, she has an organic skin care line, she's a yoga instructor, she sees friendly ghosts.

ALSO i am always here for a harry styles power imbalance headcanon, and particularly interested in the difference in how that would play out with clarry vs. hitch, with clare being a bit older and also having been a working musician for quite a while (as opposed to mitch coming straight out of the dishroom)
